Aston Martin has unveiled the new DB12 Volante, the convertible version of its flagship sports car. The Volante is the latest in a long line of open-top Aston Martins, dating back to the original DB4 Volante in 1961.

The new Volante is powered by the same 6.0-liter V12 engine as the coupe, producing 600 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 200 mph.

The eight-layer fabric roof can be opened or closed in 14 seconds at speeds of up to 31 mph. The car also features a new active aerodynamics system that helps to reduce drag and improve handling.

Inside, the Volante features a luxurious cabin with hand-stitched leather upholstery, carbon fibre trim, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system. The car also comes standard with a variety of advanced driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and blind spot monitoring.
